Halcyon Woodcraft are delighted to be participating in the Montville Timber Trail over the weekend of 02-03 May 26.

This free workshop is for veterans only. Under the tutelage of psychologist, veteran and woodworker Nev Jones, we will design and carve a Swedish style butter spreader from a piece of green wood with only a pencil and a sloyd knife. All while experiencing and reflecting on the calmness, connection, creativity and competence created when green woodworking.

This workshop is offered at a beginner level so no carving experience is necessary- just a desire to try something new. Experienced woodworkers are also welcome however. You will learn skills and insights into how to maximise the wellbeing benefits of your craft.

Max group size: 6. No equipment necessary. All PPE, tools and materials are provided.

Location is the Village Hall, 137 Memorial Cl, Montville.
