This workshop is aimed at veterans and first responders who are transitioning from service- an often challenging time. Together we make a beautiful shadow box designed to display your medals and other uniform accoutrements. We use only hand tools (no electricity!) in a deliberate effort to slow down and reflect on your service career. We encourage respect and reflection on your service, while also acknowledging that the time has arrived to “hang up the medals” and move into next phase of life. Make the transition a little smoother with this amazing symbolic workshop.

No woodworking experience necessary. The workshop assumes no previous experience in hand tool woodworking.
